Rival Entertainment announced today another all-star lineup for the 2019 Candler Park Music & Food Festival. Returning to Candler Park for the 11th year on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1st, one main stage will feature a stacked lineup of 10 artists, including Dispatch, Greensky Bluegrass, Dr. Dog, Trampled by Turtles, Stephen Marley, Larkin Poe, Funk You, Aqueous, & Webster. Sponsored by Athens-based Terrapin Beer Co., the family-friendly festival will feature local food vendors, brands and artisans from throughout Georgia.
This year, the storied Domefest celebrates its 10th year, and between the new, beautiful location at Marvin's Mountaintop and the same promise to keep the festival as intimate an experience as possible, fans are eager to learn what other surprises are in store. 2018 was a big year for the Buffalo-based groove-rock band, Aqueous. It saw the release of their first studio record in nearly four years with the critically acclaimed LP Color Wheel, and the four-piece embarked on their largest headlining tour to date. While the Color Wheel tour is winding down and the Aqueous is excited to ring in the new year at their hometown NYE bash at Town Ballroom, today the band shares their plans for early 2019.
On Saturday, December 8th, Aqueous will head to Boulder’s Fox Theatre, continuing their joint tour with support from Mungion. Since mid-October, Aqueous has been riding high, given the release of Color Wheel, their first full-length studio effort since 2014’s Cycles. By all accounts, it seems as though the band is in a stage of immense growth right now, with the maturity of their new material taking centerstage.
In support of their recently released studio LP, Color Wheel, Buffalo-based band Aqueous are heading out on an extensive tour of the US, including a performance in Boulder, CO at the Fox Theatre on Saturday, December 8th. This performance concludes the band's 3-night Colorado run, which includes a show at Hodi's in Fort Collins, CO and a performance in Steamboat Springs, CO at Old Town Pub.
Mungion, who just released their own studio record – Ferris Wheel's Day Off – will offer support each night.
In support of their recently released studio LP, Color Wheel, Buffalo's Aqueous will embark on their most extensive headlining tour to date. Along the tour, they're making a very special stop at Brooklyn, NY's legendary Knitting Factory and they are well aware it lands on October 31st – Halloween.
Coming off the heels of their highly-anticipated studio album announcement earlier this month, Aqueous has just released their NYE 2018 plans and it's official – they will be home for the holidays.
To ring in 2019 proper on December 31st, the band will once again take over Buffalo's Town Ballroom with Lespecial joining as support on the bill. Last year's NYE bash at Town Ballroom sold out, so fans are encouraged to procure their tickets early.
